Moloney welcomesTourism Seminar for Cahir

In an effort to create extra footfall in the Clonmel/Cahir Borough District, Councillor Andy Moloney is encouraging as many as possible to book into the Tourism Seminar in Cahir House on Tuesday 19th May. This event is been organised by the Local Enterprise Office as part of Tipperary Enterprise week. Moloney had been critical of the authorities previously when Cahir had been excluded from similar events. This seminar will focus on the value of Tourism to Tipperary, highlight opportunities for growth and offer insights into how to create a sustainable competitive tourism product. If you are in Tourism, avail of the opportunity to meet with and hear from industry experts drawn from Failte Ireland, Rethink Tourism, Dept of Arts, Local Enterprise Office and the new Tipperary Tourism Company. Find out what supports are available to business and avail of the opportunity to network. Councillor Moloney says we need to get a crowd into Cahir House Hotel on Tuesday 19th from 2 to 6 pm and this course is free by booking through or phone 0761065000 or e mail This is one chance to show that Cahir is serious about Tourism and booking is essential. Later in the week there will be a follow up course of ?Social Media Masterclass? which will show businesses hoe to get the most out of social media in a free course on the 22nd May from 7 to 9pm.
