St. Patrick's Day is now less than a week away and the Parade in Cahir will take place on Tuesday the 17th March starting as usual at 12 noon from Woodview, on the Tipperary Road, Cahir. All are advised to arrive at least a half hour beforehand at 11.30am to get a good place in the proceedings. Pat O’Donovan and Andy Moloney will be on hand in Woodview on the day to assist participants. Plans are progressing well for the much anticipated Parade this year.

Cahir Credit Union are once again kindly sponsoring the prizes for the Fancy Dress Parade andentrants of all ages are welcome to participate and ‘Pantomimes’ is the theme.There are lots of prizes up for grabs. For Best Individual Youth there are 1st,2nd and 3rd prizes of cash & trophies, for Best Individual Adult there are 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes of cash & trophies, for the Best Float on Theme there are 1st and 2nd prizes of cash & trophies, for Best Youth Organisation there is a trophy and there is also a trophy for Best Industrial Float too.

So, get your costumes and floats ready for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, 2015 in Cahir, good luck to all who enter and happy St. Patrick's Day to all.
