Operation Transformation 5 km for Cahir

Operation Transformation as we know it comes towards an end shortly and we will be holding a 5km sprint/run or walk on Saturday 21st at 11am. Registration is free and this is in  Duneske from 9.30am to 10.30am on the morning of the run. There will be a clock on display to judge your time and a Tea Party afterwards so anyone wanting to bring along a cake please feel free as this years charity is (ICAN) juvenile arthritis. This group is totally voluntary and set up by local lady Wendy Costello, Ballydavid ,Bansha.

There will be a donation bucket at registration but no obligation on anyone to contribute. There are 1000 sufferers of Children’s Arthritis in the country and we can do our bit towards helping the families get information and give direction as they face a life of pain and medication. Those who can walk or run the 5km should do so because “We Can” and support “ I CAN”.

The last weigh in is Thursday 26th February and over 22stone lost so far by those signed up. We will continue to meet and train after that as we launch our 21 day walking programme in conjunction with , this will be launched on 26th February in Duneske at 7.15pm and all are welcome.
