Cahir Social and Historical Society

At 8.30pm on Wednesday, 18th February next, Cahir Social and Historical Society will host a lecture by John Lonergan, the former Governor of Mountjoy prison, on "Harry Gleeson - the Final Days".

There should be considerable interest in this event given the recent announcement that Harry Gleeson is to be the first recipient of a posthumous pardon from the State, almost three quarters of a century after he was executed for a murder in the locality that he did not commit. This event will be held in the Galtee Suite, Cahir House Hotel. Admission is ?5 Guests and ?3 for Members.
