Cahir Business Shortlisted for LAMA awards

Dolans Super Valu has been Shortlisted for a LAMA award for Best Irish Business working with the communities.
The LAMA ( local authority members association) hold it's annual awards in the Crowne Plaza, Santry, Dublin on 24th January and super valu was nominated by local Councillor Andy Moloney.

Super Valu has been a huge supporter to Tidy Towns and many sporting and voluntary groups in the locality over the years.
Locally, Dolans have provided us all with their premises through bag packing and raffles and the National Tidy Towns awards involves every community in the country. Cllr Moloney is hopeful that his nomination can come up trumps in the final where they are up against Lidl Ireland and Hire2k from Co Meath.

In 2009 Moloney was successful with the nomination of Duneske Leisure for the best new community facility. His nomination of Cannonball/ Gravity in the Festival section was not successful in been Shortlisted and in the volunteer section Seamus Conway is still in with a chance of making the final 3.
