The Craft Granary - Promoting Irish crafts and designs

The impressive listed stone building known as the Craft Granary has established Cahir in County Tipperary as the crafts capital of the South East.

The Craft Granary is committed to supporting the development and success of craftspeople working in the creative sector in the South East. We promote modern Irish craftsmanship and provide the opportunity for all to experience other media such as art in our free gallery.

The Craft Granary shop is spaciously designed with all products individuals displayed. The Granary promotes modern Irish craftsmanship through sales of Irish contemporary jewellery, ceramics, glass, applied art, textiles and limited edition prints, paintings sculpture and contemporary fashion.

Art Gallery:

The first floor of the Craft Granary is home to an intimate gallery overlooking the river Suir. Various groups and solo artists have exhibited in the gallery since the building was restored. A number of Art Exhibitions are planned for this year and we are now taking bookings for next year. Please contact if you are interested in staging an exhibition.

Currently there is a joint Exhibition by artist Trish Szekelyova and Photographer Donal Mullins This exhibition will run until the end of July.
