Management teams

Continuing from last week we turn our attention to our U21s and Minors, we will start with U21 football for 2017, at the helm for this year is Tony McKenna, Tony was a selector with the U21's last year and we all know how that went (Champions). Tony will put his own stamp on this team and will bring a certain calmness to this young team, with him this year (you could say a reversal of roles) is last year's manager of this team Colm O' Flaherty, also coming in are two young men and Senior players, Brian Enright and Johnny McMahon, with all four it should be a good combination, great to see so many of our senior players getting involved with our younger teams

Minor Hurling and Football 2017

The Minor set up for the coming year, is one management team for both hurling and football, Pat O Brien will be the man in charge of both, Pat can rely on a great team beside him with plenty of youth and experience, the team is made up of Davy McEniry, Brian Murphy, Ger Hally, Mattie Cummins and Ryan Murphy. All five and Pat will oversee both the football and hurling, with Ryan and Ger concentrating on football, and Brian and Mattie putting their efforts into hurling, this is always a hard age group to look after but we think the above mentioned have what it takes to get the job done. So there you have it, nothing left to say only to wish all management teams, all players of all teams the best of luck for the year ahead, and bring on the games.

As we were talking about the New Year ahead, we have to inform you all membership is now due for the year for all playing and non-playing members, so guys get it in as soon as you can thank you.
