Cahir raced into a 3-point lead before Eyrecourt got onto the scoreboard after 12 minutes. An injury shortly after to Eyrecourts influential midfielder Paula Kenny halted any momentum that Eyrecourt were trying to make into the game.Cahir followed up with another two points before Eyrecourt had more injury worries with Jennifer Rosney #16, coming off injured. Cahir added another point to their tally bringing the halftime score to Cahir 0-6 Eyrecourt 0-1Eyrecourt started brightly in the second half grabbing a vital goal to bring the deficit back to just two points. The Cahir girls responded with resolute determination scoring 3 unanswered points restoring their 5 point lead.
