During the lockdown we ran a raffle for a 10 year membership for Cahir Park Golf Club. The raffle was a way of generating funds for the club while the gates were closed to the public due to covid-19. During this time, keeping with covid-19 guidelines, our grounds staff were busy at work to ensure the course was in top shape for the return to play.
Along with generating funds for the club it was agreed that part proceeds would go to South Tipperary General Hospital and St Teresa's Hospital Clogheen.
Some weeks ago the draw took place and Paul McEvoy was the lucky winner. We look forward to welcoming Paul back to the park soon.
Last weekend we made a presentation of cheques to Ann Walsh on behalf of St Teresa's Hospital and Patsy Bradley on behalf of Tipperary General Hospital.
Thanks to everyone who supported the raffle.
