Storm Brendan Updates

12.50: Large piece of metal on the middle of the road on the N24 near Cahir bypass, drive with extreme caution.

12.45: Emergency services are en route to a fallen tree on the N24 outside Carrick-On-Suir on the Clonmel side.

12.35: Duneske playground is closed today due to Orange weather warning in place.

12 noon: The ESB is dealing with a power outage in the Loughloher area. 607 are effected. The estimated restore time is unknown and the crew are trying to work in difficult conditions.

11am: Ballydrehid and Tankerstown schools are closed today.

10.30am: Due to the Status Orange weather warning which has been issued by Met Eireann in relation to Storm Brendan, CAHIR CASTLE will remain closed to the public today Monday, 13th January.

This is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all.
