Public Consultation on new Cahir Local Area Plan is now open

“Tipperary County Council is preparing a new local area plan for Cahir and is now looking for people's views on how Cahir should develop in the future. Public consultation is now open and will run until Wednesday, 4th December. A local area plan is an adopted planning policy document of the Council which sets out the land use strategy for the town.

The planning team at Tipperary County Council will be hosting a workshop on the plan which starts at 7p.m. sharp in the Cahir House Hotel next Wednesday, 13th November, to provide more information about the plan and to get feedback from people in the town on what the plan should include.

This is the first stage of public consultation on the new local area plan and a full draft plan will be published in Spring next year, when the Council will be again be conducting public consultation on the plan.

You can find out more information on the Tipperary County Council website or contact the Tipperary County Council planning department on 076 106 5000 to find out more”
