Minor ‘A' South Football Final

As most of you know we played the South final last Wednesday evening in Monroe against Grangemockler/Ballyneale, first we want to thank you all for the great support that was there on the night, as for the game itself it is one that will be put to the back of our minds for a long time and if we do think about the game it will be for all the wrong reasons, unfortunately from the first whistle to the final one our team were second all the way through, finals can be funny things and sometimes form goes out the window, final score was Cahir 0-04 the Grange/Bally side 3-13, congratulation to Grangemockler/Ballyneale and we wish them the best of luck in the county final, to our panel of players we thank you for the journey you took us on and for the hard work both at training and on match days, and to management team of Davy McEniry, Larry Molan (joint managers), Colm O'Flaherty (coach) and selectors Tadgh Howard, Tomas Kelly and Maura Grogan, again we thank you for all you done for this team over the last few months, better days ahead everybody, full team from the final: Killian Halpin, Darragh Heffernan, Eoin Wyse, Liam Hickey, Francie Delaney (0-1), Christopher McDonagh, Jack Buckley, Kevin Grogan (0-3), Oisin O Suilleabhain, Gareth Butler, Jake Kiely, Tommy McDonagh, Jake Fitzgerald, Dylan Browne, David Clifford. Draw the Joker

Congratulations to Rita Coffey on winning our last jackpot of €8,000 (enjoy it Rita), this week's jackpot started at a tasty €4,000 and our draw was held in the Galtee Inn, as always thanks to John and his staff for the great hospitably shown to us, here are this week's winners: Oisin Quinn, Eddie Hally, Micheal Fahy, Liam Naughton and Nellie Guthrie.

The Tipperary county draw for the month of July was held last Friday evening, our club had two €1,000 winners and they were Michael Berry and Mairead McEniry, well done guys and spend it well, believe it or not it is still not too late to join for the remaining nine months, if interested please contact a club member.
