County Draw

The county draw for February was held last Friday evening, sadly we had no winner from all our members who joined with us for the present year, there is one more chance for us to bring a big prize to one of our members in the next draw which is March and the last one for this period 2018/19, after that we will be starting the 2019/2020 in May. But we have good news for you all, as a thank you to everyone who joined the county draw with us for the year just up, and the fact we did not have much luck in the draw this year, we will have a confined draw for all who signed up with Cahir GAA for the draw, in March we will give away 20x €50 , so twenty lucky people will get half their money back from us as a thank you for your continued support, we will let you know the winners when the draw takes place.

Inter- County

Another week of county league games this week with football the main event, our hurlers had a break so our county footballers took to the stage when they played Donegal in Semple Stadium, and a great result and win for the county 3-09 to 0-13, with club man Liam Casey (PICTURED) getting 1-01 to help the cause, well done to Liam and all the Tipperary team.

Our ladies were also in action over the weekend when they played Dublin in div.1 of their league, sadly not to be for our ladies, final score in that one, 6-09 TO 2-08, as we are on ladies football, a big congratulations to club and county player Aisling McCarthy who made her debut for the Western Bulldogs down under at the weekend, and to top it off scored a goal to announce her arrival, well done Aisling you should be very proud as we all are in our club, as is a tradition in that part of the world anyone starting for the Bulldogs gets a shower from their team mates after the game as they sing their anthem song,(have a look at the picture below), great stuff! Again well done Aisling a super star is born.
