TIPPERARY LADIES CLINCH SPOT IN ALL IRELAND QUARTER FINAL
Tipperary's senior ladies footballers clinched a spot in the All Ireland quarter final with a gritty victory over Donegal. A dominant opening saw them surge ahead 0-4 to 0-0, with their defence allowing just a single point from play in the first half. Anna Rose Kennedy was outstanding, landing four points and guiding Tipp to a 0-8 to 0-3 lead at halftime. Donegal responded strongly after the break, narrowing the gap to one following Jodie McFadden's crucial goal. But a composed late free from Aisling Moloney secured the win.
