THOMAS J CLARKE COMMEMORATION

A special commemoration for Thomas J. Clarke, one of the leaders of the 1916 Rising, will take place in Clogheen, County Tipperary—his mother's home place—on Easter Saturday, 19th April 2025 at 11:45 AM. Participants are asked to assemble at the Community Hall in Clogheen for a march to the 1916 Garden. The oration will be delivered by Dr. Ruan O'Donnell of the University of Limerick. The event is supported by the 3rd Tipperary Brigade IRA Independent Republican Committee. For more details, follow Tom Hennessy on Facebook or @tipperaryfenian on TikTok.
