Community Spirit Shines at Cahir’s Dawn Walk for Youth Services

On May 11th, 2024, Cahir residents gathered early at the Tourism Office to participate in the Dawn Walk, a 5-kilometer event organized to support local youth services. Beginning at 5:00 AM, participants enjoyed a scenic route that concluded with a vibrant display of birdsong at the Swiss Walk.

The walk was supported by Oakpark Foods, with notable contributions from Tommy Morrisey and his team, and Michael Murphy of Murphy Candles. Their involvement underscored the local business community's commitment to youth projects.

The event was well-attended, with donations collected to fund youth-oriented projects in Cahir. The communal effort was evident, with participants expressing satisfaction with the impact of their contributions.

The success of the Dawn Walk promises positive developments for Cahir's youth, showing the power of community action and support from local businesses.
