The Daughters of Dun Iascaigh Raise Thousands for Down Syndrome Support

The Daughters of Dún Iascaigh visited Thurles on Thursday evening to mark World Down Syndrome Day with a visit to the Meitheal 21 Down Syndrome Tipperary Branch. During their time there, they toured the center, met with children, teenagers, and parents, and presented the funds they had raised.

The center, bustling with activity, impressed the visitors with its array of programs and support services. The Daughters of Dún Iascaigh were pleased to hand over the proceeds of their fundraising efforts, totaling €23,410.65.

They expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed, acknowledging the collective effort that made their fundraising success possible. Their contribution will undoubtedly support the important work of the center in assisting individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
