Easter egg trail by Friends of The Playground Cahir

A notice from the Friends of The Playground Cahir. We are delighted to announce that our annual fundraising Easter egg trail will be taking place this year on Saturday 30th March 11am - 1pm and Tickets will cost €5 per child. Tickets will be available to purchase on Friday 22nd of March between 10am - 1pm and 5.30pm - 7pm at Woodview Service Station and  Saturday 23rd of March between 10am and 12pm At Cahir Farmers Market.

Unfortunately due to the ever increasing costs and fees, there will be no online tickets available this year. All tickets must be purchased from the above locations at the times specified. We will only be able to accept cash payments .Apologies for any inconvenience.

*Please note Adults or people not receiving an egg do NOT require a ticket.

This self-guided Easter Trail will lead you from Cahir Castle car park along the woodland path through the fairy village. Meet the Easter Bunny and lots of friends along the way!

Cahir is steeped in rich cultural heritage and an abundance of natural beauty. Following the woodland path, you may be greeted by ducks, geese, pigeons, squirrels and many mini-beasts leading you to your very own Easter treat

Come along for an EGG-citing day out for all the family, suitable for all ages

Advance ticket purchase is ESSENTIAL to guarantee an Easter egg at the end. spaces are limited.

Adults do not require a ticket.

This route is fully buggy and wheelchair accessible.

Make a day of it!

Delicious treats available Cahir Farmers Market in the Castle Carpark from 9am-1pm.

Step back in time by visiting Cahir Castle or The Swiss Cottage, even enjoy a picnic at The Giants Table in the Inch field.
