Yesterday Cahir Welcomed Bellator MMA Celebrities To Town

Yesterday, the town of Cahir received an unexpected and thrilling visit from some of the biggest names in the world of mixed martial arts (MMA). The surprise guests were accompanied by the extended Butler family, proud natives of St. Mary's Road, Cahir.

Leading the charge was Brian Butler, hailing from Virginia, USA, and nephew to Fr. Pat Butler. Brian is renowned for managing an impressive roster of professional athletes in the MMA sphere, with his fighters competing in top promotions globally, including the likes of UFC, Bellator, Invicta, ONE FC, and many more.

In tow, Brian brought an entourage of formidable talent. From left to right, the lineup included Steve Mocco, a respected coach in the MMA world, Jay Jay Wilson, a fierce fighter set to take the Bellator stage this Saturday, Sabah Homasi, another skilled fighter gearing up for a Saturday showdown in Bellator, Dustin Poirier, the former UFC Champion who twice beat Conor McGregor, and Johnny Eblen, the reigning Bellator middleweight champion, who is also slated to fight this Saturday.

This Saturday, fans of the sport will be treated to an epic showdown as six world-class matchups unfold at Bellator MMA 299 EBLEN VS. EDWARDS. The electrifying battles will transpire within the iconic 3Arena in Dublin. For those unable to attend in person, the event will be broadcast live on BBC iPlayer (UK) and Virgin Media Sport (IRE) at 9 p.m. BST, while the preliminary card will kick off at 4 p.m.

Cahir, once again, finds itself on the global stage thanks to its remarkable connection to the world of MMA. We extend our best wishes to all the fighters, hoping for a night of extraordinary action and unforgettable moments. Good luck to these warriors as they represent not only themselves but also the spirit of Cahir on the international MMA stage.
