Kevin Brunnick would like to thank all the people from Cahir & the surrounding areas for their overwhelming support to the Goal Earthquake street collection held by local volunteers with the of support Colaiste Dun Iascaigh & the church gate collection held over the weekend.
He would like to especially thank the transition years students, Fr Peter Cullen and his volunteers who stood out in the cold weather over the weekend colleting. Goal representative David Burns on receiving the news that €7,001 raised was thrilled with the massive support we received and stated these funds are vital to provide food shelter and water to the victims of this disaster, as temperatures plummet below freezing.
