Local Link Service extended in Cahir

After a series of motions by Cllr Andy Moloney, an extension has been granted for the local link service serving Cahir. The extension has been granted for 2 days a week, Tuesday and Friday

The service will run from Ardfinnan, Clogheen, Ballylooby and Cahir, Leaving at 9.30am and Returning at 1pm.

This service being available on a continuous basis will be dependent on its monthly usage.

At the moment people are getting a bus from these villages to either Mitchelstown or Clonmel to access Cahir, this vital link will help immensely but will need to be used if it's to be maintained in the long term.

To make use of this service, you'll need to be registered with local link and give 24 hours' notice of booking the service.

Councillor Andy Moloney campaigned for this, now that it's here it is “a use it or lose it scenario.
