Richie Delahunty Knockagh Cahir had a huge win with his group Lasrach from Aherla in Co. Cork at The National Concert Hall on Sunday at The Siansa Gael Linn final. Richie mentored the group for the last number of months to get through to the Final against huge competition.
Sunday nights competition saw children and teachers from all over the country as Richie's group took home first prize. Richie teaches traditional Irish music banjo mandolin guitar and bodran to children both locally at home in Knockagh and countrywide . He as just returned from World Expo in Dubai where he played music representing Ireland with musicians from all over the country.
Well done Richie and Lasrach. Always a proud Cahir man.
