No Monday Blues For Cahir

Cllr Andy Moloney wished the Cahir Tidy Towns Group well on their trip to the Helix this Monday in an effort to secure their standing at a National level.

While It's hoped the Tidy Towns Committee be making news this coming Monday in Dublin, there will also be some good news on the jobs front as Minister of state for trade and business, Pat Breen and the Local Enterprise Office will make an announcement at a function in Nenagh.

It is anticipated that a Cahir company will be one of 3 in the county that will be announcing expansions to their facilities and increasing their international market.

Moloney welcomed the news and said that Cahir's standing on the Motorway is a huge asset to those exporting their product and is a leading location for overseas customers with Cork and Shannon and Waterford airports within 1 hour.

The local councillor said that Monday could be double Delight with the jobs and hopefully a national Tidy Towns Medal in the town to top of a great day for Cahir.
