Hurling League

Last Friday evening Thurles was the venue for our latest round of the league; we played Sarsfields on the pitch behind Simple Stadium, not at full strength Cahir were up against a good side and to be fair there was only going to be one result, that said, we had a few goal chances of our own but could not put them away, Thurles Sarsfields were a good test for our team and every game that we play you can see the improvements in our play, you could say we are using this league to gain as much knowledge as possible, final score was Cahir 0-15 Thurles Sarsfields 3-16, full team and scorers: Keelan Hickey, James Walsh, Kieran O'Dwyer, Keelan Looby, Ryan O'Donnell (0-1), Brendan Donaghy,, Liam Howard, Niall McKenna (0-1), Darragh Howard (0-1), Alan O'Connor (0-3), Daniel Moloney (0-1), Johnny B. O'Brien, Eanna Heffernan, Eoin Donaghy (0-7), Conor Casey. Subs Used: Johnny McMahon (0-1), Rhys Chowtie, Nicholas Reidy
