Cahir Meet and Train travel to Grange

There was a great turnout of Cahir Meet and Train members in Grange on Sunday morning for the Grange NS Tomás Kelly fundraising run.

The sun shone its brightest this year as the runners gathered to face the Thomastown Hill turning left into Ballindonney and around by Loughryan to finish back at Grange village. The walkers were out in force also and left 5 minutes after the runners.

Those trying to make up their time should allow for 5.5km and calculate accordingly.

The Tomás Kelly Fund is getting great support across all local communities and Sunday was no exception. Well done to the organizers and stewards on the day for making the course safe.

We continue to meet on Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm and now that we have the bright evenings back we will be heading off on new routes and this week we will get a bit of the bypass but high vis is still required.

Best of luck to all our members preparing for the Great Manchester Marathon and are very visible around the roads in anticipation of a big run in April.

Meanwhile, our group are preparing for the Morrrisson 4 mile at end of April and then a summer full of races after that.
