Cahir Tidy Towns and Operation Transformation
The Cahir Tidy Towns Group are starting to get back in full swing for the spring and Seamus power washed the plaza, war memorial and the pump on cashel road at the weekend. Ted was busy in the sensory garden helping out the final bits in the improvements to the outer wall and new entrance. This gate will not be open that much but is more of a feature to open up the garden and show off the designs on the gate that were created by disabled groups. It will be in keeping with the new windows in place already. We are laying the cobbled path this Saturday so we need help at 11am until dinner time. Just pick a stone and lay as it will be all ready. Have your input in this lovely feature and once again it costs nothing's no age barriers either.
Beechpark have been busy on a new bed and Woodview entrance has been planted. Highfield have cut their hedge so there is a touch of spring about the place. We want all estates to keep in mind that April 25 is town clean up day where we need everyone on board for 2 hours at 11am for litter and general clean up of their area. Residents groups should contact us for bags as only official bags will be collected.
We will have a float in the parade so all members are asked to touch base on it and meeting this Wednesday at 8.30 to sort.
The OT members involved in the fashion show are been monitored as they continue to train and exercise on Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30. Classes still available in Duneske for circuits and also weigh only option. Some proceeds of fashion show will go to c-saw and a good crowd is expected on April 9th.
