Cahir's Pierce Murphy & Luke Cagney To Take Part In Jailbreak , Ireland’s largest Student-Run Fundraiser

Jailbreak is Ireland's largest student-run fundraiser, now entering its 6th year, with all proceeds split between Amnesty International and Saint Vincent de Paul. During Jailbreak, teams of 2 have 36 hours to escape the starting point in Dublin and race toward ‘Location X,' which is revealed over the course of the competition with the help of several clues. However, teams may not spend any of their own money in order to reach the destination. Over the course of the last four years, Jailbreak has grown exponentially, involving several colleges across Ireland and seeing a massive increase in the number of teams participating. Jailbreak has raised over €225,000 since its start in 2013.

Team 10: Los Pollos Hermanos is made up of Cahir's Pierce Murphy agus Luke Cagney. Speaking to us they said

"The “Los Pollos Hermanos” team is perfectly suited for the jailbreak adventure. We are both well acquainted with travelling and meeting new people. The two of us are very excited to be able to have this opportunity as we are open minded people who yearn for new experiences. We genuinely believe that this will be an enriching experience that we will look back fondly on in later life".
