Santa Visits Cahir Again This Weekend

It was a very busy weekend for Cahir Tidy Towns with the opening of the Santa's Grotto in the tourist office.

Santa, Mrs Claus and the elves were on hand to greet the children and receive their gifts. The committee members were busy making teas and coffees for the parents while they waited. On Saturday the Tipperary Brass Band and Cahir Brass band teamed up to perform some Christmas Tunes at the grotto.

We also had a stand at the Enterprise Town Expo in Cahir House on Friday evening and it was a great occasion for all the town to be involved in.

We continue next weekend with Santa in the Grotto on Saturday and Sunday from 2-5 and admission is €5 with pressie.

We would also like to thank Senator Frances Black for the invite to afternoon tea in Dublin last Thursday and we also visited the Museum and had some time for shopping. The group also met up with local Oireachtas Members and senators from all around the country as we got a quick tour of the Dail.
