Met Eireann has issued a Status Orange Low Temperature Warning

Met Eireann has issued a Status Orange Low Temperature Warning for all South East counties as temperatures are set to plunge again tonight.The warning covers all Leinster and Munster counties as Met Eireann warns of air temperatures as low as -6 degrees overnight. The warning is valid from 8pm on Wednesday evening until 10am on Thursday morning.A Status Orange warning is issued when weather conditions have the capacity to impact significantly on people in the affected areas. An orange warning implies that all recipients in the affected areas should prepare themselves in an appropriate way for the anticipated conditions.
