Tipperary Senior Football Final

Loughmore Castleiney 2-07 Cahir 1-10
Cahir and Loughmore-Castleiney must do it all again after the Tipperary Senior Football Final ended in a draw at Leahy Park in Cashel.
Reigning champions Loughmore-Castleiney snatched a last-gasp equalising point in injury-time after Benny Hickey’s score for Cahir seven minutes from time edged his side in front 1-10 to 2-06.
A Robbie Costigan goal had given Cahir an early 1-02 to 0-01 lead but Liam McGrath and Cian Hennessy hit the back of the net for Loughmore-Castleiney in reply.
However, it was Cahir who still led by half time 1-06 to 2-02.
Loughmore-Castleiney hit the ground running after the break to go into a 2-06 to 1-08 lead in front of the 1,550 crowd, but Cahir rallied to regain the advantage before the holders' late leveller forced the final to a replay, which will take place next Friday, 26th December at 1pm.
