Cahir Tidy Towns Notes
The Cahir Tidy Towns Group have been active over the past few weeks trying to maintain the works completed beds and weeds in anticipation of a visit from the National Judges. Some premises are still been painted and it's very welcome. Cahir is really establishing itself as a tourist destination. On a note of caution, we need to advise people using the river to adhere to the restrictions in place regarding the Crayfish plague. The Suir is one of the best rivers in Europe for Crayfish and they are protected species. At the moment the disease is confined south of Clonmel. They meet as normal on Wednesday night at 7 and those available for stewarding for the Half Marathon next Sunday please let them know.
