Council Meet in Cahir Castle

As it is the honour of the sitting Mayor of the District to hold their final meeting outside of the Town Hall, councillor Andy Moloney has sought permission from the OPW to have the June meeting in the Banquet Hall of the Cahir Castle on Wednesday 21st.

This will be a historic occasion as it will be the first time having it in Cahir since the new district changes. This meeting will be preceded by the opening of the Inch Field carvings at 3.30pm.

On a different note, Tipperary Co Co are seeking submissions for the re vamp of the town centre in Cahir . This is part of a county plan to enhance trade and tourism in several towns and the public input is been sought. It's your town and your opinions matter. Submissions could mean parking plans, landscaping, plazas and much more so let your views be know before July 31st closing date.
