Our B team were at home to Clonmel Town in the fourth division league. We were one up at half time the goal coming from Jason Allen after 10 mins .We had a poor second half with Town hitting us for 3 goals. Full time Cahir Park 1 Clonmel Town 3 Youths A Team Cahir Park 2 Clonmel Town 3 In a very entertaining game played on the all weather pitch on Saturday afternoon a young Cahir team put in a very good performance and were very unlucky not to come out of the game with a more favorable result. Goals scored by Shane Murphy and David Clifford for Park. The Cahir Park U10 boys played host to a blitz on Saturday evening with teams from Clonmel and Cleirihan taking part. The lads had loads of games time and gave great entertainment for a few hours. Well done boys keep up the good work. Our U13s lost out to Clonmel Town Sat morning on a 4 2 scoreline. The lads were well in the game but conceded two late goals and were very disappointed to lose. Keep working lads your day will come. Our u14 girls took to the pitch today against Cashel. We knew it would be a tough fixture against these girls following their success in the fai competition. Cashel made their mark quickly and made it 4-0 at half time. Our tired young girls turned the game around in the second half and it was an enjoyable game to watch. Cahir defended well and were unlucky with chances. We pulled one back but with a final result of 5-1 the girls can be proud of their performance today. Well done girls. Our U9 girls played a blitz on Sunday evening in Cahir Park Astro Pitch and it is amazing to see the improvement of these girls every week. They played great football and are enjoying it immensely. I think the parents are enjoying it as much as the kids. Well done girls. See you at training Tuesday nights at 7pm. We were delighted to host the FAI Primary School 7 a side competition all week in the astro pitch. This is a county Tipperary competition with 190 schools visiting our club over 2 weeks and great credit has to be given to the FAI for running this great competition. Big Thanks to Anne Downey of Anne Downey Fitness for the sponsorship of jerseys for Cahir Park Youth Team. It's very much appreciated from everyone at the club.
