Presentation night

As we have mentioned before our medal presentation night for our U21 champions and a reunion of the minor champions of 1996 will be held on the 30th of December in Cahir House Hotel all starting at 8-30pm sharp, as we are all coming up to a very busy time, we just want to remind everybody that is thinking of going on the night to buy their tickets as soon as you can so we have an idea of numbers for the hotel on the night, tickets are selling out fast so try and get them as soon as possible to avoid disappointment on the night, tickets can be got from most club members and are priced at €15 each.

Two more All Ireland medals for Cahir

Congratulations to Kildalton College on winning their all-Ireland football final replay recently, especially our Chairman John O Connor who was the manager and to our own Eanna Heffernan who played on the team, well done to both men.

Home on leave

It is nice to see Ger O Gorman home for a short while as he takes a break from his tour of duty in Mali in Africa. Ger is serving with the Irish Army and is going back out to Mali in early January, enjoy your break Ger and good luck and keep safe for the rest of your tour.

Happy Christmas

It is hard to believe that 12 months of the year have gone so quick, just a few days of 2016 left. At this point we must thank everybody for their hard work supporting us in all the different ways throughout the year, thank you to all our players, managers, coaches, committee members, all our suppliers, trades men, all the pubs who hold the joker draw, all our sponsors, and all the business who advertise with us, and to our loyal supporters who are with us thick and thin, to the general public who with no hesitation enter our draws and buy county and Joker tickets throughout the year, and to everyone else who we have not mentioned again we thank you all. On behalf of our Chairman John O Connor, and all club Officers, we would like to wish you and your families a happy, safe and peaceful Christmas and a very happy New Year to you all, and let's hope we all have a very successful 2017. Nollaig Shona Dhaoibh.
