Cahir Tidy Towns

The Cahir tidy towns group group finished painting on the high footpath this week and hopefully this will compliment the work done on Carrigeen Castle and great credit issue to the Butler Family on these works.

There was great interest in town this week with painters ascending on the new bed at the car park to paint the castle and geese.

We will be removing the growth from the mall wall and also the trees growing a cross the river in the next few weeks .

We are hoping that the bridge paving will be finished this week also and that the a new bed will be built opposite the Riverhouse. We are also in talks about a wheelchair friendly path Round the inch field. Lots to do and we will continue use over the winter months to improves facilities before next year. On a final note we would encourage everyone to come out and listen to the Trad music for Tradfest 2016 on weekend 16th -18th September. This is another free festival provided by the town. Meet as normal on Wednesday at 7pm.
