LONERGAN EXTENDS BEST WISHES TO STATE EXAM STUDENTS
Independent County Councillor for Clonmel/Cahir Borough District, Martin Lonergan has extended his best wishes to all Junior & Leaving Certificate students who begin their State Examinations tomorrow.Cllr Lonergan has urged students to stay calm, pace themselves and remain positive. "I sincerely wish the very best to all students taking examinations this year. Students will have worked hard and the majority will find that they are better prepared than they think. I would like to give particular praise to mature students who have returned to take the exams and I hope that they will find the experience a rewarding one.On a practical level, it is important that students pace themselves and take care of themselves throughout the coming days and weeks. They should eat and sleep properly and take regular exercise and study breaks." Concluding Cllr Lonergan added, "I would advise students to keep things in perspective and remember that these exams will not define their lives. There will be other opportunities to pursue their desired course if this year's exams do not work out as they wish. I would also like to praise teachers and students for their hard work and commitment in their preparations for this years exams. Best of luck to all!"
