Fixtures for the weekend ahead

U21F B south final football: Cahir V Killenaule Friday 29th 7pm in Marfield

Senior football championship: Cahir V Kilsheleen Sunday May 1st 12:00 in Clonmel.

As always fixtures are subject to change please keep an eye on the various social media and if you can please go to a game and support our great teams. We would like to wish all our teams the best of luck in the coming week.

Strictly DVD

Our dancers from the now famous weekend in Cahir House 18/19th March were treated to a showing of the DVD last Saturday night and all enjoyed it greatly there was also a couple of drinks thrown in on the night which made it even better, again thanks to all the dancers for their hard work.

County draw 2016/17

The next county draw is now up and running and the promotional material is printed, so we will be calling on all our great supporters for their help again for this year, your support for the county draw is vital for our club and again we thank you, in anticipation of joining with us for the year ahead.


Congratulations to the three nominees, Cahir Intermediate Camogie team, Kevin Sullivan (karate) and Liam Shinnick (GAA President's award) for their achievement in sport for the month of March 2016. The overall winner was the Camogie team; they were all honoured by the Cahir & District Sports Achievement Awards committee in the Abbey Tavern last Sunday evening, well done to all three nominees.

Draw the Joker

Martin Hanrahan won €100 on Sunday night. Other winners were Billy Lonergan, Mary Heffernan, Kevin Burke and Tommy Barrett. The draw was witnessed by John from The Abbey Tavern. The Draw will be held next week in Morrissey's with a Jackpot prize of €4,600.00. All are welcome.
