Micheál Martin, TD, Uachtarán Fhianna Fáil to deliver Oration at the 93rd General Liam Lynch Memorial Mass in Newcastle
Micheál Martin, TD, Uachtarán Fhianna Fáil will deliver this year's Oration at the 93rd Liam Lynch Memorial Mass in Newcastle. Local Independent TD, Mattie McGrath and the Memorial Mass Committee invite members of the public to the Memorial Mass in Newcastle on this Sunday, 10th April. The days schedule will begin with the unveiling of a 1916 Memorial in Newcastle Village at 12pm. A march will take place behind a Bagpiper to Newcastle Church, where mass will be offered at 12.30pm by Fr. Gareth Desmond, PP. Following Mass, refreshments will be served in the Community Hall in Newcastle which will then be followed by the Oration which this year will be delivered by Fianna Fail Leader, Micheál Martin, TD. The Chairman of Tipperary County Council, Cllr. Seamus Hanafin along with other Public Representatives will also be in attendance. The Local Comhaltas Group, the County Scór na bPaiste finalists will perform along with local musicians. The Chairman, Deputy Mattie McGrath, and the organising committee look forward to seeing you on the day.
