Cahir Tidy Towns

The Cahir Tidy Towns group are back in action this coming week with a Float in the Parade on St Patricks Day. We would like to thank everyone who supported our Table Quiz and all the money raised will go directly back into the town.

We have acquired some wildflower seeds form a council initiative so hopefully we will have better luck with this batch as the seeds in the inch field seem to have been affected by the floods. As there is a touch of spring in the air we will shortly have weeds and grass growth so it will be all hands on deck. We also hope to get to grips with the St Declans Grove once the weather picks up and get it sorted. There will be work done on the Ha Ha at St Pauls Church and continuing work on the footpaths over the coming weeks. We are asking all residents of the town to try plan for some painting works to help us in our efforts to win an award in the National TT Competition and put Cahir firmly on the map as a place to visit.
