Munster final

Don't forget next Saturday 28th in Mallow, throw in 2pm, our Intermediate camogie team play Lismore (Waterford) in the Munster final, (it must be said a lot of these girls are also on the Intermediate football team, they have great passion for both codes). We wish all the team the best in the Munster final and hope the team can pull it off.

Scor na nOg

Last weekend Cahir were represented in three categories, solo song (Erin O Regan), table quiz, (Eoin O'Neill, Dylan Fitzgerald, Eoin Kelly and Cillan Conway), thanks to Breda O Neill for all her help with the team and finally Instrumental group, (Shauna O'Dwyer, Mike Walsh, Erin O Regan, Anna Mai Walsh and Evan O Regan) who we are glad to say were crowned county champions, well done to the group, we are sure it took a lot of hard work to win, also a big well done to all who took part on the night ye should be all very proud, all of this could not be possible without the hard work, long hours and endless patients of one Paula O Regan well done Paula and thank you for all you do for the club.

Pat O'Dwyer won €100. Other winners were Jim Cantwell, Colm Guthrie, John O'Donoghue and Ann Downey. The draw was witnessed by Mags from Morrisseys. Next week's draw will be held in The Shamrock Lounge and the Jackpot is €4,600.00.

Camogie Notes

The Munster Intermediate Club Camogie final goes ahead next Saturday 28th at 2pm in Mallow. Hopefully the weather will be kinder to us on this occasion as the team were really disappointed that the original fixture had to be called off. Best of luck to the team and management on Saturday and let's hope a good crowd travel to support the girls.

Our minor team are due to play Drom and Inch in the county semi-final on Sunday 29th but as up to nine minors start on our Intermediate team we have requested a postponement from the county board.

Congrats to the Ladies Football Team who have qualified for the All-Ireland Intermediate Final next month.
