We say goodbye

Two of our players have left us for different parts of the world, Conor Casey for the U.S.A. and Liam Meehan for down under. we would like to wish both lads well in their new ventures and hope we see them soon rather than later, good luck lads.

Junior hurling championship

Last Wednesday Monroe was the venue when Cahir played Grangemockler/Ballyneale, again Cahir started slowly in a hard and physical first half, Cahir going to the break down by six points, 0-09 to 1-12, Cahir stepped it up in the second half and to be fair owned it scoring ten points to the opposition's three, final score Cahir 0-19 Grange/Bally 1-15, well done all involved. Draw the joker

This week's results are as follows: Barry O'Brien won €100.00 and the other prize winners were Eileen Ryan, Mary Ryan, Karen Doolan and Marie Keating. The draw was witnessed by Tim Shanahan from The Bell. Next week's draw will be held in The Punters Rest and the Jackpot is €8,600.00
