Gravity Music Festival

Tickets for the Gravity Music Festival to see Hermitage Green on Saturday 12th September in the inch Field beside Cahir Castle are now on sale at Ticketmaster.ie or from Cahir House Hotel. Tickets are €20 each or there is a special family ticket €50 for 2 adults and up to 3 children. Hermitage Green are supported by numerous other bands including The Minutes, the Hot Sprockets, The Dead Heavys, Graveyard Johnnys, along with local talent, Nev Flynn and Macalla . Gates will open at 4pm on the 12th. Part proceeds of this event will go to the South Tipperary Hospice Movement.

Soap Box Derby

The very entertaining Soapbox Derby will take place again this year on Sunday 13th September. Soapbox entry forms can be obtained by contacting Stephen Kirwan at 086/8048833 or at stephenkirwan@eircom.net or if you prefer go to www.gravityfestival.ie to get updates on all events taking place.

Volunteers wanted

Anyone over the age of 18 interested in giving an hour or two of their time to volunteer to help during the upcoming Gravity/Cannonball weekend of 12th & 13th September contact Gerardine or Barry by email stating the day you are available and they will get back to you as soon as possible. Gravity Ball Drop

The very entertaining Ball Drop will take place on Sunday 13th September. Tickets for this event are available now in all shops, pubs,businesses and from any Gravity Committee Member. Tickets are €2 each with an overall prize of €1,000 to a lucky winner. Part proceeds of this event and all other events associated with the Gravity Festival will be given to South Tipperary Hospice.

Cannonball

Gravity successfully joined forces with Cannonball Ireland last year to great effect; we are delighted to be able to continue this partnership this year. Cannonball is a unique three-day road trip around Ireland, taking a different route each year with over 170 gleaming supercars
