Timmy and Kathleen Fitzgerald won ?100, with Mary Flynn, Adam Barrett and Pat Cashman winning the other prizes. This week?s draw will be held in the Punters Rest at 9.30 on Sunday night. Congratulations to the Colaiste Camogie team who gave a wonderful performance and defeated St Judes of Ballymeana, County Antrim in the All Ireland semi final at Cahir last Saturday. They now play a Galway or Waterford team in the All Ireland final.

JUVENILE NOTES

The parish football league eventually started after the recent bad weather and there was a great turnout of players in Duneske last Saturday. Again the girls joined in the tournament and there were some fantastic performances by the girls most notably Rosanna Kiely and Elma Casey. What was really encouraging was the closeness of the games, both won by the minimum. Many thanks, to our referees Tommy Barrett and Pat O Brien and to Richie Cagney who pulled it all together. Next Saturday promises to be just as exciting so the place to be is Duneske at 2.30 The Cahir GAA fun week will take place between the14th and the 18th of July so keep those dates in the diary. Well done to Cavan McKenna and Conor O Brien on their selection on the south Tipp U15 football squad. (www.cahirgaa.com)
