Cahir Playground Reopens

To the committee of the Friends of The Playground Cahir, take a bow.

The rain did not keep the crowds away or spoil the fun. Just a change of plan!

The day started with the official cutting of the ribbon at the playground which was done by Paddy the bear and Cllr Andy Moloney.

Aoife Wade spoke on behalf of the committee, Cllr Andy Moloney on behalf of the council and Geraldine Byron on behalf of Cahir Development Association.

It was then down to Coláiste Dún Iascaigh Cahir for the teddy bears picnic and fun activities. The committee would like to thank the school for stepping in at the last minute when the weather turned and allowing them to use the facilities.

The committee would also like to thank Philip from An Garda Síochána Tipperary in Cahir, Patryk Siwy Ciotucha, Aoife Collins, Marguerite Butler and all who helped on the day.

The playground will open daily from 9am-5pm until further notice.
