Juvenile News

The U11s kicked off their winter League Campaign last Saturday morning against Kilsheelan/Kilcash, a close match but unfortunately the final score was not in Cahir's favour. Last Saturday was a busy day for our Juvenile Team's,

Our U8s (pictured) attended a blitz in Killenaule, they marched behind the Moycarkey pipe band and lifted the Liam McCarthy Cup, you can't ask for much more than that well done Killenaule Juvenile GAA for organising a fantastic event, and thanks to all the U8s who travelled.

The U8s & U10s are kept, busy with challenge matches and all the younger groups, you are doing great work with these young teams.

U14 Shield Competition Friday 13th September Cahir v Ballylooby in Ballylooby at 6.30pm

On Sunday 8th Sept

Cahir travelled to Ned Hall Park Clonmel to play Grangemockler/Ballyneale in the U16 Hurling Championship Playoff, a great game of hurling from both sides, it was a close encounter and Cahir fell short on a score line of 2-18 to 2-15, hard luck to lads and well done to all for a great effort.

The county draw for the month of September was held last Friday evening; we had just the one winner from our members, congratulations to Alice Hyland who was lucky to get €200, well done Alice, let's hope we have even more winners next month.

A big weekend ahead for all in our beautiful town of Cahir when the Tradfest kicks off next Friday evening, best of luck to all our members involved with this great project, we hope it all goes well for everyone.
