Cahir Park 1 0 KilenauleOn Sunday Cahir Park B Team made the short journey to Cashel to play Kilenaule in the Peter O Reilly Cup Final. The Park started brightly and led at half time through a Dylan Nugent goal. Kilenaule threw everything at the lads in the second half but Cahir Park held out to complete the treble by adding the Peter O Reilly Cup to the League and Sheild. FAI Vice Execitive John Delaney presented the Cup to Cahir captain Shane Reegan. Well done to Jason and the lads on a fantastic season. Add these 3 trophies to the Youths double and the First teams great season in the Premier League currently sitting third in the table it has been a truly great season for the club and a credit to all our coaches from academy upwards over the last number of years.
Well done to Cahir Park U12 Girls Casey Butler, Ava McKenna, Isabelle O Donnell, Zoe Conway and Sienna Ferris who trained with the U12 Emerging Talent Academy in Tipperary last Sunday. Our u14 girls had the pleasure of hosting Clonmel town to Cahir park for their first outing of the year. The Cahir squad were low in numbers but from kick off every girl fought hard and played with great heart. Clonmel gave a great display of football throughout the game. A great battle took place on the pitch between both teams with Clonmel town taking the points today on a final scoreline of 3-2. We wish Clonmel town all the best for the season ahead.
