Tobar Íosa repairs

Tobar Íosa will see some repairs as early as next week. Cllr Andy Moloney met with Coolmore Farms on site this week to discuss the improvements that need to be carried out.

The well has some trees uprooted and In particular one big Popular is leaning dangerously against others.

The manager has committed to making the site safe as early as next week and in the new year they will put the rootball back in place. The post and rails on the left as you enter the Well will be repaired and a whitethorn hedge will be planted along it.

The bramble hedge on the right will get a tidy up but the new owners are anxious to keep the area as a tranquil setting and Lee's disturbance as possible to the area.

Some new hedging can be put into the ditch on the right and see what it looks like after these adjustments.

Moloney confirmed that the new owners, Coolmore, want to work with a committee in the interest of the Well and if there are anyone in the area with some time we would like to hear from them in the interest of Tobar Íosa going forward.

In the interim, Cahir Tidy Towns will help with the tidy up.
