Strictly come Dancing 2018

Our dancers are working very hard on their routines for the big shows, as you should know by now Saturday night is sold out but Friday night tickets are still available, but please don't leave it too long.

Draw the Joker

Our weekly draw rolled in to the Shamrock Lounge last Sunday, as always we were well looked after by all in the Shamrock, we thank you all for your continued support of our draw, it is greatly appreciated, this week's winners: Tara Armitage, Maggie Sweeney, Cillian Sweeney, Helen Hally, John Butler.

SOUTH TIPPERARY AWARDS NIGHT

Clonmel Park Hotel on Sunday 18th November.

Special Guests on the night and representing their Club will be

Francie Mc Donagh Captain, Under 14 South Divisional Team

Scott Murphy Captain, U14 Cahir Team and

Conor Kirwan, winner of the South Puc Fada and county Runner-up.

Also, representing our Club on the night will be Colin Barrett, Oisin Maher, Eoin Wyse, Jack Buckley, Kevin Hickey, Francie Delaney, Sean Leahy, Conor Kirwan who were all part of the South Divisional Squads at U14 & U15 level, Well done and congratulations to you all.

PARISH LEAGUE

Hurling Parish League continues every Saturday, with the final taking place on Sunday 25th November.

AWARD 1 HURLING COURSE

Aimed at Youth and Adult hurling, U14 to Senior level club coaches

The course covers a number of key modules including Technical Proficiency, Tactical Prowess, Team Play, Physical Fitness, Playing Facts, Psychological Focus, Communication, The focus of the course is the further development of the ‘How to Coach' skills by placing the participant in situations that they will face as coaches - the organisation of games, skill development, activities to develop skill and activities to develop the various aspects of physical fitness, Dates for the course are the 26th, 29th November, 3rd, 6th and 10th of December, Time - 7.30pm - 9.30pm, Venue - Dr Morris Park, Cost 50 Euro per coach.

Award 1 Football coaching course will commence early in the New Year.

U7 And U8

The U7 and U8 groups had their end of year outing when they went to Monkey Maze; there was great excitement on the day with Denny their bus driver and coaches, Gavin, Derek, Joe and James met Bon Bon, apparently the two groups of kids enjoyed it as well, hope everyone had a great day.

U16

An U16 hurling Blitz was held over the weekend in the Park, and was a great success, Moyle Rovers were the winners of the Bowl competition, our own U16 team (pictured below first) were the cup winners, and a South U14 side won the Shield (pictured second below), this all coincided with a coffee morning/ evening which was held after all masses over the weekend with all proceeds going to the Day Care Centre, a big thank you to everyone who helped out in any way to make it a great weekend of sport and kindness from all who donated to the Day Care Centre.
