New Joint Art Exhibition At Craft Granary

The Craft Granary is delighted to host the launch of the joint exhibitions of artists Sophie Carpentieri and Tony Crosse. Please join us to celibate their new exhibition on the 9th of November at 6.30pm at the Granary.

The joint exhibition will run from 1st November to 8th January.

Artist Sophie Carpentieri.

Sophie was born and raised in Switzerland where she studied architecture at the polytechnic. This was really exciting until reality hit her. Life had to be more than sitting by a desk in an office all day long. So she started a journey on horseback that eventually led to Ireland, 8 years ago, and she have never looked back. Recently Sophie moved to Kilcash, on the southern slope of Slievenamon, it's heaven, Her new home feels like an artist retreat. Sophie is planning to turn the garden shed into a proper studio so the sitting room can be a sitting room again. In March this year, Sophie had her first solo exhibition in the Horse Museum in Fethard and the next one planned will be in the library in Clonmel in March next year. The exhibitions gave Sophie a goal to work towards and allows her to explore new subjects, but she is also very happy to do commissions.
