Daughters of Dún Iascaigh

I was from Rafane,Cahir and was the first white woman to attend a Navajo pow wow. Who am I?

The identity of this woman, and many other Cahir women, is revealed in the new book, Daughters of Dún Iascaigh. The publication of the book coincides with and celebrates the 100th anniversary of the first election in which Irish women were allowed to vote. Get your copy of the book at the launch - Cahir House Hotel, 8pm on Friday, December 7th. There will be musical entertainment, poetry, refreshments, a free raffle, and maybe a surprise or two. Proceeds go to Cahir's St. Vincent de Paul to assist women and children. See you at the launch.
